2012 CONFERENCE
THE CHINA FACTOR:
IS THE WORLD CHANGING OR IS CHINA CHANGING THE WORLD?
During the past 20 years changes in China have directly impacted trade with the U.S. and the U.S. economy. China is now the manufacturing source to the world and has developed a strong domestic market with a burgeoning middle class—now the second largest economy after, and soon to surpass the US economy. America and the world may be on the verge of a huge transformation as China’s consumers turn China into the largest importer of foreign goods. Chinese foreign and internal investment strategies will further affect the global economy.
The pace of change in China will only accelerate during the next ten years. Understanding and anticipating future developments is essential for small and large businesses alike because of the ability it gives to anticipate business opportunities, marketing advantages, competition, potential business growth and more. Such knowledge and increasing business success is critical to raising the U.S., Chinese and world economies.
US-China Business Connections (UCBC) will introduce its First Annual China Factor Conference Series to address changes in China and their potential impact on business. Speakers at this conference will include renowned U.S. and Chinese industry, and economic leaders plus regional and national government experts, as well as authors and historians who focus on China. Our goal is to provide attendees with in-depth knowledge about the “China Factor” and how entrepreneurs and small and mid-sized businesses can take profitable advantage of changing economic winds.
This international event will feature attendees, exhibitors and presenters from North America and China along with global online attendees and an online Exhibit Hall. This historic international event will take place at the Minneapolis Convention Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota on September 24-25, 2012. (Event Set-up on September 23) Save the date. Online RSVP and payment options coming soon.

Help Us. So We May Help You!
Small business and entrepreneurial companies make up over 99% of all U.S. businesses and comprise an economic driver, but do not have a “voice”. Because UCBC works with trade offices, the Dept. of Commerce, Small Business Administration, other agencies and leaders, we can be your "voice". Among our initiatives is the UCBC US-China International Conference & Exposition to be held in Minneapolis, Minnesota and streamed live (for online participants) in September 2012. We need to know what you need to be (more) successful and why—so we can offer that to you. We need feedback that is current and accurate--only you can provide that. Please take a few minutes and complete our online questionnaire; it should take you 5-7 minutes. Your participation will be a beneficial and strategic investment in your business. Profile information will remain confidential. Thank you.
