UCBC. Providing Purpose and Value.

UCBC is a non-profit organization which primarily serves small and mid-sized businesses and organizations, as well as individual entrepreneurs who realize the opportunities and potential of doing business  between the U.S. and one of the world’s largest markets: China. We do so by providing the knowledge, resources and experience that otherwise may not be readily available or easily navigated.

Our organization includes a multitude of individual entrepreneurs, small and mid-sized businesses, who are currently doing business or seeking business opportunities in China.  Examples of our educational and networking services include but are not limited to:

• How to start and cultivate a business venture in China
• How to face the challenges of manufacturing in China
• How to protect your intellectual property
• How to find, qualify and contract reliable suppliers
• How to build business partnerships in China
• How to navigate logistic channels

Our monthly meetings, seminars, and many resources are open and available to anyone, but members of UCBC gain significant benefits in addition to discounted fees and member only support and resources. For instance, admission to monthly meetings is free for members, which by itself more than covers the cost of an individual membership. Corporate memberships also are available, which allows three individuals to receive all the benefits of an individual membership.

UCBC is the official contact between the city of Beijing, China and the state of Minnesota and a member of the Minnesota-China Partnership Alliance of the Minnesota Trade Office.
