Learn The Language
There are several Chinese dialects with Mandarin being the most commonly used Chinese language for business. Chose whatever means you find best to learn the language: personal tutoring, online, CD’s or MP3, or group classes at a college or university. Go to Google and search for “learn Chinese language” and you will come up with hundreds of sources. Most “free” courses charge for all but the most fundamental learning. Regardless of the method of learning you choose, you should try to learn from a native Chinese person or source.
UCBC has several members who teach Chinese.
