Chambers of Commerce
AmCham-China is a non-profit organization which represents US companies and individuals doing business in China. Its membership comprises more than 2,500 individuals from over 1,100 companies. It has more than 40 industry- and issue-specific forums and committees, offers unique services such as the Business Visa Program, holds a wide range of networking and informational events, and meets with US and Chinese officials to discuss challenges and opportunities facing US firms doing business in China.
The American Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong, one of the largest American Chambers outside the US, is the largest international chamber in Hong Kong and the most dynamic and influential international business organization in the Asia-Pacific region. Their website provides AmCham services, programs, publications and advocacy, and basic facts, figures and reports about Hong Kong.
The American Chamber in Shanghai (AmCham Shanghai) is the third overseas American chamber to operate worldwide, established only three years after the founding of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. The mission of AmCham Shanghai is to support the success of members by promoting a healthy business environment in China, strengthening U.S.-China commercial ties and providing high-quality business information and resources.
